Why I always include a Professional Summary

{Professional Summary}
.
.
.
I know that if you google this, a lot of experts are saying that this part of the resume is wasted or irrelevant...and a big no no.
.
.
.
I DISAGREE.
.
.
I will always include this. Why?
.
.
.
A well written summary at the top of the resume gives the reader an insight into the following things:
.
.
.
What are your strengths/best qualities?
.
.
Why do you want this job? How does it fit in your career path/aspirations/plan?
.
.
What is the end goal for you?
.
.
.
A professional summary should only be 4-5 well written sentences long.
.
.
.
That is not much room to talk about the above.
.
.
.
As a jobseeker, you need to have clarity over the above 3 points, and know how this job vacancy in front of you is going to help achieve this.
.
.
.
This is just one way that I ensure my clients are standing out from the crowd by engaging the reader in the first few seconds of viewing their resume.
